PJ-華盛頓1998年出生于美國肯塔基州路易斯維爾，2019年NBA選秀，華盛頓于首輪第12順位被夏洛特黃蜂隊選中，職業(yè)生涯先后效力于黃蜂、獨行俠，新秀賽季入選最佳新秀陣容二陣。

2024年2月9日，華盛頓被交易至達拉斯獨行俠隊。在他的幫助下，獨行俠從西部亂軍中突圍而出，可惜在總決賽不敵綠軍，無(wú)緣總冠軍。
